Brotherly Love

This boy was so excited to become a big brother. I've hoped and prayed that he would embrace the role and love Hudson. He has met and exceeded all my expectations. He loves giving him hugs and kisses. He asks at least once a day to hold baby brother. When he does he sings, "I love my brother. He's my best friend" Good to see I'm not the only one head over heels for our newest lil dude!

The Best Gift of All

Soooo...I've been super MIA on here lately. 9 months to be exact. And this little guy is why. 

Hudson James, was born at 11:41am on Christmas morning, tipping the scales at 9lbs, 4oz and 20 in long. We tried two long years for this little guy. We ended up turning to IVF to conceive him due to no luck and a few complications. He is truly our miracle baby, and we found it very appropriate that he was born on Christmas Day. Between nausea, being perma-tired, and keeping up with my four year old- life was busy, and kept me away from all of you. Now that he's here, my goal is post more often. 😊 

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did, as I received the best gift of all.

I thought it was Spring....

Ummmm.....I thought it was Spring?! It has been unusually cold here in Vegas. It isn't going to get past 66 degrees today. If you are familiar with Vegas, that is really weird. It is typically in the 90's by now. I refuse to put on Jeans, so I took a black sundress and paired it with some sandals and a jean jacket. Hoping I don't freeze m buns off!!

Army + Camo

Happy Thursday, Dear! Today I opted for a comfy outfit, because my Little Man had surgery to install ear tubes. What a relief to know that is over. He was getting chronic ear infections for about two years. After two trips to the ENT, he finally got the green light to have them put in. I was shocked at how quickly everything went. A 10 minute procedure, 10 minutes for anesthesia to wear off, and 2 cans of apple juice later, we were on our way home. I am so proud of my little man for being so brave! The nurse said he walked into the operating room like he owned the place and said, "don't worry, I'll be ok". I love that kid and his self confidence.  Hope everyone enjoys Scandal tonight!

Monday Motivation: Boy Mom

When I saw this shirt at Target, I knew I had to get it. You know you're a Boy Mom when you buy a shirt just to make your Little Man happy. In this case, it's an awesome Marvel shirt. He is really into Super Hero's right now, so it was a perfect buy. We are headed to the splash pad today with some friends. For a practical outfit, I paired with some cut offs, black flip flops and aviators.

Classic Black and White with A Pop of Color

It was his first year of preschool, and he had such a hard time making the transition. Monday Motivation: White Boyfriend Shorts + Stripes + Denim Vest

Oh Monday, you have come again.  I always move a bit slower on Monday, but am also (almost) always excited to start a new week.  One of the best ways to motivate myself, is with a cute outfit.   After a cold, rainy and windy weekend spent indoors, I am ready to enjoy some warmth and sun outdoors. My little man and I will be hittin' up one of his favorite places this morning, Trader Joe's.  He loves finding the Seahorse, telling the cashier, and being awarded a lollipop. It will most likely be the highlight of our day. Anyone else out there have kids that love Trader Joe's? Hope everyone starts their week off right. Enjoy!

Whites + Creams + A Special Delivery

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.  It was my birthday weekend, and was very busy with out of town guests. I also found the sweetest birthday surprise, from my Hubby and and Mother In Law, on my doorstep. This Little Guy:
